I really enjoyed this, and love the potential there for high quality streaming of live concerts. My friend had this hooked up with HD connection to his big screen TV and it looked and sounded phenomenal. If Furthur did this kind of thing with their touring I'd pay a subscription fee for the whole season, I believe Phish does this now. Such a great avenue for revenue for touring bands, it wouldn't stop people from going to shows close to home and gives people the opportunity to see shows live that aren't close to home. Bob said during the show he was making history, I wouldn't necessarily go that far but it's definitely a portent of things to come in the future I believe.

The quality of the sound and video were much better than expected - especially the video as I expected the audio to be good. The performance was not too shabby either. Kimock is all over it! Anytime he stepped up the whole thing went to the special happy place.

I like the technology and I'm glad that Bobby has decided to keep moving furthur in the whole music/technology sphere! I wonder what this whole rigging cost him? Nice investment in the GD infrastructure...now if we could convince all businesses to be that forward thinking. Go Bobby, Go!

I'd pay to see Furthur or DSO or other jamming bands on this format. Very cool shit!

I agree. Bob seems to be fairly lively and in great form! I like his trimmed hair and beard lol. He was starting to look a bit too... ratty? How amazing was that Eyes of the World!? That sax solo...holy smokes.

The only thing bugging me is that Kimock is clearly the lowest in the mix, and it's very difficult to hear what he's playing a lot of the time thus far. I'm pretty impressed with the music though. TMNS and New Minglewood were very good too. These guys definitely click together.

Sometimes they replay the TRI shows the next day. There's a decent chance someone will upload the performance to YouTube as well.

Setlist so far:
Set I:
The Music Never Stopped
New Minglewood Blues
Money For Gasoline
Eyes of the World
some cool jam I didn't recognize, let's call it "Jam" (might have been part of Eyes actually)
Even So
October Queen (Wow this was awesome!)
The Deep End
Mississippi Half-Step
Ashes and Glass

Set II:

Acoustic:
Peggy-O
Friend of the Devil

Electric:
Corrina
Row Jimmy

Bobby is rockin' a sweet Captain Trips pin on his acoustic guitar strap.

And thankfully, they've turned up Kimock in the mix for set 2.

That was great! Thank-you Bobby.

Maybe De Niro's right. Phil and Bobby are better doing their own thing.

I only caught Ashes and Glass to the end but it was pretty damn sweet.row jimmy>bird son>cassidy>stuff was awesome..jazzy and a little funky..they really took it into a mix of 70s miles and coltrane kind of stuff for a bit there...then days between was just plain amazing.

I hope it's available for replay somewhere.
